Thoughts for Winter
May 21, 2008
After more than twenty years dealing with New England winters and avid skiers we
have some suggestions that might make your stay with us more enjoyable:
Every winter we deal with frozen batteries, frozen door locks, iced up windows and
a variety of other auto mechanical problems. Before you leave make sure you pack:
jumper cables, a scrapper, spray can to unfreeze windows, door and door locks. Get your
antifreeze checked and consider installing a heavy duty winter thermostat. When you
park your car..especially overnight make sure you consider having the area near your
battery free so if you need a jump someone can reach your battery. Good tires are a must.
